The health and safety of our staff and attendees is of the utmost importance to us. With the exciting return to live events, Expotrade is ensuring COVID appropriate hygiene and safety practices are in place and strictly adhered to. By following these important initiatives we can continue rolling out the safe, successful events we are so known for.
Please note that attendees visiting Brisbane from interstate are not currently required to register their travel – however, it is the responsibility of all delegates to stay up to date with travel requirements into Queensland. Please visit https://www.covid19.qld.gov.au/ for the latest COVID health advice and travel requirements for Queensland.
Expotrade’s safety assurances:
If any attendee is feeling unwell, showing any symptoms of COVID 19 or has been advised to self-isolate, they must not attend this event and must stay home. This includes coughing, fever, sore throat, fatigue or shortness of breath.
If any attendee, or a member of the attendee’s household, is awaiting COVID-19 test results they must not attend this event and must stay home.
If any attendee or a member of the attendee’s household have been asked to self-isolate by any medical or government body they must not attend this event and must stay home.
If any attendee has had a close or indirect contact with a confirmed or suspected COVID-19 case within the last 14 days from the date of the event, they must not attend this event and must stay home.
If any attendee has visited a hot spot location listed on the Public Health alerts site, they must not attend this event and must stay home. They must also call 13 Health for further direction. Social distancing of a 1.5m distance is to be maintained wherever possible. Crowding will be managed with the following initiatives as per the BCEC COVID policies:
Face masks are optional at this event, unless otherwise indicated by State Government guidelines or venue policies.
Attendees are strongly urged to avoid physical contact (such as handshakes or hugging) with other guests. We recommend that the exchange of business cards and other printed materials is avoided, and encourage attendees to exchange details digitally wherever possible.
Attendees are strongly urged to maintain strict personal hygiene, such as thorough hand-washing with soap and water and sanitising. Hand sanitiser will be available throughout the venue for convenience.
Should attendees wish to share their ticket with colleagues, a separate badge must be printed for each attendee at the registration desk. Badges are not to be shared at any point.
