Premier Campbell Newman said nine projects totalling $7.5 million in Western Downs and four totalling $12 million in Maranoa would be funded to service the increasing population in resource towns like Miles, Chinchilla and Roma.

“I will be announcing further projects receiving Royalties for the Regions funding in the coming days and weeks.”
